New York, New York

It’s been a month and two weeks since I moved into New York City - the capital of the world, the big apple, the greatest city in the world. And I can tell you something - what they say is true, it is the greatest city and even though I haven’t seen every big city in the world, it has this unique feeling that you can get nowhere else. As a tourist you might get what New York City is all about, though as a newly established resident with enough common sense, you will surely be in love with the big city and leaving it behind will never be easy. Unless you are retired; then you belong in Florida :) . But enough of my wise cracks. The thing about New York is, it got it all; and that might be what makes it so unique. That along with all the big things that happen each and every day here, since there’s always a million things going on at a time in NYC.

I’m writing this from the subway, 2 train, which I took from Times Square (42nd Street) to get to Brooklyn College.

From now on I’m going to blog more often about the big city, and hopefully provide interesting insights on the life here.
