Bypass Customer Service Robots
A recent survey says that 90% of Americans are tired of the bullshit customer service robots that pick up the toll-free lines, anywhere from AT&T to Verizon. Sometimes it takes going through 9 different options before finding out the number to press to get to a customer support representative, other times you need to go through a complex hierarchy of menu items and in worst scenarios, you have to call a totally different number than what the average customer is given.
There’s now a website that has all this information for nearly any company out there, and that’s GetHuman.com. They’ll tell you the fast route to get to a human being (or monkey with verbal skills) on a customer service line be it by giving you a direct phone number or telling you what numbers to dial in. It also gathers reviews from customers regarding these service lines.

Great resource! It’s getting increasingly difficult to get a human on the phone these days, I literally had to go into the office of an ISP once because there was no way to get a human on the line.
There’s another service that’s similar: http://fonolo.com/
