How to beta test Windows Vista

Many would like to get their hands on Microsoft’s soon to be released operating system, Windows Vista. But if you don’t have an MSDN or TechNet subscription, or if you’re not a registered beta tester, chances are you’ll have to wait for the release version of Vista, in early 2007.

One thing you can do is go at http://microsoft.order-4.com/windowsvistabeta/ where you need to enter 85894 as the nomination code, and your personal details. If accepted, you’ll have access to download the latest release CTP build.
Even though this is not a Microsoft.com website, it’s being run by a different company in Seattle (Catalysis), and you need not worry.
In exchange, you should provide Microsoft with feedback about the new operating system, be it bugs you encountered or just your personal opinion.

Your registration to participate in the Windows Vista Technical Beta program was successful. If you are accepted into the program, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail containing more information on the program and instructions on how to download the latest release CTP of the build.
