After Vista comes Vienna?

I know, Vista isn’t even released yet, but the web is talking about its successor :) . That’s not crazy, that’s the 21st century.

It seems that Windows Vienna will be the name of the new Windows operating system that comes after Vista. It was originally codenamed Windows Blackcomb. However, Windows Vienna will still probably be just the codename like Longhorn was.

Microsoft plans way ahead, and starts way ahead. A Microsoft enthusiast notes how when he visited the Microsoft campus last year, they were already interviewing for Office 13.

I bought WindowsVienna.com (the new nameservers should propagate any minute now). It’s going to be a source of news about Windows Vienna.

We don’t know much about Vienna right now, but it’s probably going to change the way we interact with computers, in home and business environments. Some think we might even say goodbye to the mice and keyboards.
